FIGC | Overview

Federation Internationale de Golf Council, FIGC for short, is the trading name of Fedigc Limited. FIGC is the Licencing and Governing Council for Club based competitions in a Championship format. Our fundamental objective is to shift the Game from a Tour model to a Team-League model by retaining the Individual Player element. This structured team-based approach will strengthen golf clubs and enhance competition.

By placing clubs at the centre of the sport, FIGC creates new opportunities for Players, Fans and Investors alike. This innovative approach fosters growth, increases financial sustainability, and paves the way for a more inclusive and dynamic future for golf.

Why The Change?

Eliminate Stagnation through Cohesion by Redefining Golf

Golf’s current Tour format has been limiting growth for some time, with Golf Clubs playing no role whatsoever in being central stakeholders in it’s Wealth Creation.

Through the Tour model the individual players dominate the spotlight. FIGC’s Club Championship format shifts the focus;- by empowering clubs;- by creating new revenue streams;- and by expanding opportunities for players at all levels.

  • Elevating Clubs – Shifting from player-focused tours to a club-centric model.
  • New Revenue Streams – Creating new financial opportunities for clubs by attracting investors, building dedicated club fanbases, and maintaining player support.
  • Competitive League Format – Establishing lasting engagement with a structured championship for Clubs, Men, and Women.
  • Greater Inclusivity – Providing equal opportunities for men and women in a unified abridged system.
  • Stronger Global Presence – Modernising golf to attract new audiences and investment.

This approach is sustainable and brings stability at all levels.
